What Aries Needs to Know about Cancer

 Cancers approach life in a totally different way than you do. They feel every nuance of emotion coming from everyone they encounter and base their self-esteem on the ability to nurture and support. You’re trained to see this quality as a weakness and control it. A simple shift in thinking could allow you to see your Cancer as a powerful warrior of the heart, offering them the same respect you would a comrade in your battalion. Aries, you must appreciate (and find a way to show that you do) the sensitive nature of your Water partner. Imagine that there’s really someone in the world who cares that your feet are cold or that you might get sick if you don’t wear your coat. You may never understand why anybody cares about these things, but your Cancer partner undoubtedly does.

Aries will tend to see you as weak, Cancer, if you continue to let your feelings be hurt by their actions that appear insensitive. (I say appear because they aren’t trying to be brash; they’re just used to having a thought and then acting on it.) Rams are warriors and love knowing that you’re going to fight for their right to be emotional— that’s the kind of strength they can trust. It’s also important to remember the gifts of your Aries mate. Who else would go to battle for you over the smallest thing or map out a trip that they want to take with you? It doesn’t matter if they don’t do dishes or make the bed; they’re showing love the best way they know how … and you can bet that’s what it is if they look you in the eyes and tell you how much they appreciate you in their life— even if they never actually say the words.
